Weight Loss Tea - Does it Work?

CLICK HERE TO LOSE WEIGHT NOW!

By Brandon Fitz

In this fast paced world where events happen in the blink of an eye, time seems to fly because of work schedules and family time. This makes it hard to lose weight and has led to an unprecedented one-third of the population being obese. People are searching the Internet everyday for a 3-day diet that works. Most have been disappointed by fast weight loss programs so they tend to be skeptical before committing to anything because they can't handle another let down. However, most fast programs make it impossible to lose weight.

WHY MOST PROGRAMS FAIL

Simply put, a person cannot go without eating for an extended period of time. Fast weight loss often includes a strict diet. The human body cannot be fooled so it quickly figures out that it is being starved and tells every function to slow to a crawl. This slows metabolism and once the individual gives in to hunger, pounds are gained at an even faster rate than before.

What follows is guilt and disappointment, and now with a much slower metabolism, the weight comes on faster than before. That makes the individual get desperate and try something else. Maybe weight loss supplements and tea. Since using tea to lose weight is becoming a trend, perhaps it's best to look at the two most popular weight loss teas and find out if they really work or not.

OOLONG TEA

Oolong tea is a popular drink that started in the east and has now worked its way to the US. Some experts claim that it can cause an average of 2 pounds of weight loss per week, just by drinking it. It's no wonder that many people are turning to this new beverage. However, is it true that it can help with your weight?

Although many studies have shown that oolong tea can reduce fat intake and cholesterol, there is no guarantee that it can miraculously make a person drop weight, and even if it does, you'd be losing muscle too, which can be harmful to your body. With the addition of a healthy eating plan, it will help lose weight and lower cholesterol.

GREEN TEA

Green tea has been known to increase metabolism throughout the body by increasing the heat it produces: almost like adding fuel to the fire. That means that the amount of calories burned throughout the day is increased in almost every activity. Alone it will not do enough to be the miracle that many are searching for, but is a great addition to a new, healthy way of life.

HOW TO USE TEA FOR WEIGHT LOSS

Like stated above, neither green tea nor oolong tea will cause massive weight loss by themselves, but if used in conjunction with a great weight loss program, they can dramatically increase the results. And tea offers many benefits in the way of overall health.
